==Intro==
While how minecarts work in ''Alpha 1.2.6'' is mostly identical to modern versions, the [https://craftbook.enginehub.org/en/3.x/mechanics/minecart/ CraftBook] plugin makes drastic changes to [[Minecart Mechanics |minecart mechanics]], all of which this page will aim to document.

==Stations==

Stations will stop any minecarts passing over them and, when powered using redstone, give them a large boost. 
To make a station, simply: 
# Write <code>[Station]</code> on the second line of a sign facing in the direction you wish the station to propel the minecart in 
# Place an obsidian block on top of the sign, and 
# Place a rail atop the obsidian block. 
If the sign, obsidian block or rail is powered by a line of redstone, the minecart will receive a large boost.

===How To Construct A 2-Way Station===

The main limitation of stations is the fact they are only one way, however this can be mitigated using the simple setup shown on the left.
This works due to the fact that, to receive the previously mentioned boost, the station does not have to be directly powered meaning line of redstone can power both stations at once.

===Vanilla Boosters===
While it is possible to make a variety of boosters that propel a minecart using other minecarts, they tend to be finicky and cost a lot of resources.

It should however be noted that changes in elevation will increase the speed of a minecart (''this includes going up a slope, though already having a slight amount of speed is necessary''). 
This means that using either (at least) a 2-long 1-deep hole or a single elevated block on the track which the rails travel across will create a low-cost booster that can slightly increase the speed of Minecart.

"Narrow View" or "Route Stuemeaia" is a 3 meter wide, ~13 meter tall bridge which spans from ''/warp tacobell'' to ''Checkpoint East''. It is of a substantial size for something of its kind, ~11,000 blocks of cobblestone (~11,000 meters / 11 Km) spanning from East to west. 
The bridge was started in the better half of 2023, and was completed on November 11th, 2024; it was initially a coproject by {{user|IC_1101_IC}} and an unknown player (whose name was forgotten by IC). Most of it was made by [[User:IC_1101_IC | IC_1101_IC]], with the beginning portion being made by the other user. 
At the moment, the bridge (and it's main builder) are not members of any faction, and are not onerous  to anyone. Certain parts of it may be claimed due to it passing near a faction, but the bridge itself is a public utility and is not intended in the future to be owned by any faction in completion.

Initially, the island featured only one structure - The SavyOrder Castle [That's the old name of the Castlevania's main Castle] . Over time, {{user|Bountyhyiqye}} decided that the castle was ready to welcome new residents from the surrounding areas, so he began attracting players to settle near the castle.

==== Creation ====
The town was officially founded on July 25th, 2024, when Bountyhyiqye gathered server newcomers and they began building the first houses. {{user|Bountyhyiqye}} offered all the residents the chance to unite and occupy the entire island, but they declined. Since then, each resident has created their own faction with a house. At the time, the town's name had not been decided, so it was referred to as SavyOrder Town in honor of the SavyOrder Castle.

==== The Golden Week ====
On August 20th, 2024, when {{user|PurflePL}} first logged onto the server, the town's "Golden Week" began.

The current name of the town, Castlevania, was suggested by {{user|PurflePL}}, and the residents embraced it.

{{user|PurflePL}} also colonized a small island east of the main island and established the town's metro system. He attracted new players to settle in both in Castlevania, and his faction, [[USSR]], which was named RRPR at that time period. His efforts led to visits from the server administrators, who seemed to be amazed by the look of the town.

During this period, he started building four skyscrapers, which go by the name of "Rubin, Roben, Polka and Rosyanka". "Rubin" and "Robin" are connected to each other by a platform, while "Polka" and "Rosyanka" are still under construction.

During this time, {{user|Bountyhyiqye}} expanded the metro system to connect all stations. With his assistance, the city expanded northward as new players joined.

==== Separation ====
On August 30th, 2024, {{user|PurflePL}} decided to leave the united factions's land due to currently unknown reasons. He unclaimed the island's land and moved the [[USSR]] faction closer to the server's spawn, causing a significant decline in the town's online player base. For safety reasons, the then unclaimed island was incorporated into Castlevania Castle's faction territory.

==== Great return ====
On September 1, 2024, {{user|PurflePL}} returned. He decided continue the construction of 4 towers on the island by leaving USSR faction and joining Castlevania.

At this period player {{user|FastPasta}} finished construction of the base port foundation which was located behind the bridge east of the island.

Castlevania was connected to World Railroad Network in September 7th, 2024.

Currently, the town continues to develop, with new structures and residents gradually contributing to its growth.

The Saferoute system is also a part of the UCA highway system, however, the saferoute system is underground, designed to be a safer alternative for people traveling. 
however, the saferoute system is not so expansive yet.

When [[OldSpawn4]] got released in March 2021 [[Soosland]]‎‎ was still a very small faction. Initially there were a lot of other factions nearby, but nearly everyone had moved on with other things. Today, there is only [[BroHut2]] and other small factions left. Many of them have become ruins. For example, [[Loginstoon]] by the player {{user-nonwiki|Stoohp}} which is still maintained by {{user|soos_YT}} despite the inactivity.

The town was officially founded on March 16. 2021 when [[User:soos YT|soos YT]] wanted to start a new project after soosLand (former faction at oldspawn3). [[User:soos YT|soos YT]] offered all the new players the chance to build buildings protected by the powerful Wall of [[Soosland]].The faction also used to be called susland but has since changed back to Soosland. Many players have joined the faction and built their own structures.

During the construction of [[Soosland]] there was a crisis, the administration decided to remove the shop completely to fix the [[Economy]]. This delayed the construction until a new solution was found to get wood as fast as possible. In the beginning they tried to get the wood faster by creating tree farms but it was too much effort to maintain. Finally a new shop system was introduced, with which wood and other materials could be bought from other players in shops.

The faction has also started to use the free space in Soosland's wall by offering rooms to players. Some players took advantage of the opportunity but most of it is still empty today.

Under the name "LightRepublic", {{user|O8GC}} (who originally joined as _chrisleighton) created the faction which was meant to be nothing but a castle with a village to house his faction members. While partially achieved, O8GC wanted, unlike many other factions, to base his faction on an ideology which later become socialism. That's when he changed the faction name multiple times ranging from "People's Republic of Light" to "People's Vanguard of Unity" '''(PVU)'''. It was ultimately that he decided to go with East Germany, when he caught wind of {{user|M4GIC_BUBBEL}}, who just so happen to be German aswell, and his establishment of a faction with a somewhat opposite ideology.

After the faction has become the DDR, the continuation of the castle was halted (although it is still in use today). Like many communist/socialist countries in real life, high rise apartment blocks (also called commieblocks) were constructed primarly out of stone. Next to them, a statue of the emblem of East Germany consisting of a hammer and a compass was built aswell.

====Change in location====

The main reason why the faction has changed its location and moved right next to [[Germania]] was the idea of constructing the [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Berlin_Wall/ Berlin Wall]. Not only would it be historically accurate, but it would also be somewhat of a sightseeing for visitors of Germania. With the help of Germania, a lot of terraforming on the future territory of the DDR was done. There eventually was enough space to start the construction of the border wall between the two factions consisting of two walls with fences and watchtowers in between.

The only things happening at the moment are the extention of the wall, the construction of apartmentblocks and terraforming. Things like monuments and non-residential buildings will come up in the future.

Oddly enough, the in-game wall was unintentionally constructed exactly 63 years and one day after the original on the 14th of August 2024.

A lot of players were throwing items at him and chasing him all over the place. {{user|Windows7ultimate}} gave him the opportunity to place a sign with a message in [[OldSpawn4]].The sign is still in place and can be seen in the upper part of the spawn.

Essentials is a multi use plugin on the server, allowing for ease of use for players and administrators. 

== overview ==

Essentials makes life easier for everyone on the server, giving the ability to warp to different locations, set homes, have an economy, and overall make the server more fun and give the server have better playtime quality. 
The plugin is especially useful since there are no beds in this version meaning you cant set a spawnpoint, so when you die you go back to the server spawn, or if you are in a faction with a ser <code>/f home</code> location, you respawn there. 

== homes ==

Homes are used for personal teleportation between locations, when set with a name, if you want to teleport to that home in specific, you do <code>/home <name></code> to teleport you to that location. 
You can have a maximum of 150 homes.

== warps ==

These are public locations people can teleport via <code>/warp <location name></code>, these can only be set by server administrators. 
You can check what warps are available via <code>/warp</code>

Essentials adds an economy to the server which allows for easier trade between players and even with the iconomy plugin, allows for users to set up actual shops using chests and for admins to set up server shops.

=== basics ===

You can pay people and check the value on some items with just the essentials plugin, but with the iconomy plugin, you can buy and sell with ease from shops which can be useful especially if the seller is offline. 
Most people will use the server shop due to it having infinite resources in stock, but the prices are higher and your options are limited, especially if yoh sell to it. 
To buy from a shop: 
* right click the sign of what you are buying, if you have enough money or if they have it in stock. It will work. 
To sell at a shop: 
* left click any sign that has "S" on it, you can sell it for the accepted sell price there, if the shop owner doesnt have enough money, it will not work.

Main shop on alphaplace, located next to the player market. This is useful for selling items since the marketplace shops by players.

The player market is a way for players to set up shops like the server shop, however, the shopowners are responsible for restocking the shops and managing their prices and maintaining a constant balance if they are also allowing players to sell at their shop.

The factions plugin is a plugin used on AP to create towns, and is mainly meant to allow players to protect their builds. 

Sections:

== Factions Overview ==

Factions is a plugin meant to replace towny on [[AlphaPlace]] due to towny being buggy and unreliable for players to use. 
The plugin is a way to protect your builds and maybe even start a town with multiple players. 
How factions work is that when, lets call a player fedep. fedep wants to protect their build, it could be a house or some pixel art and he owns a faction. 
fedep claims the land ( chunk or chunks ) where the build is located. in claimed land, unless you are in fedep's faction, you cant do any chunk edits in his faction, this includes:
* breaking/placing blocks
* opening chests and furnaces ( this can also be locked with [[Lockette]] to make it your own personal chest )

== How to join/make your own faction ==

You can join a faction with /f join <faction>, replace <faction> with the faction you want to join. 
if the faction you want to join is invite only, you need to have an invite before joining said faction. 
if you want to make your own faction, simply do /f create <faction name>.

== managing your faction ( for new faction owners/managers ) ==

there are plenty of commands at your disposal, the most useful ones being:
* /f tag <tag> - this changes your faction name
* /f desc <desc> - this gives your faction a description
* /f close - closes/opens a faction, making it where you can make it invite only or free to join
* /f claim - claim whatever land you are on ( manual claiming )
* /f autoclaim - when you walk around on unclaimed land ( unclaimed land being wilderness ) you claim it automatically, this is really useful for whenever you are claiming massive amounts of land
* /f invite <player name> - invites players to your faction
* /f helper invite <playername> - invites helpers to your faction ( helpers are people who aren't in your faction but also have permissions to build in your faction
* /f helper deinvite <playername> - revokes a helper invite for a user
* /f helper join <faction> - join a faction as a helper ( this will not take away your current faction status if done )
* /f helper leave <faction> - drop the helper ability for a faction
* /f helper kick <user> - as a faction moderator/owner, run this to kick a helper
* /f helper list - list the factions you are a helper in.
* /f disband - disbands your faction ( ONLY DO THIS IF YOU ACTUALLY WANT TO DISBAND YOUR FACTION )
